Thanks for the response!
After a little Google research, I discovered that LibreOffice's Writer does exactly what I wanted with its text formfields. I just deleted the ones I made in MS Word, then opened the document file again in Writer and recreated the formfields with a couple simple actions, and clicked "export as PDF" and done! Wish MS Word allowed us to do it as easy, would have made things a lot simpler for me, but oh well. Jobs done now, and the boss is pleased with the result! |

Microsoft would most likely be happy to oblige, but my understanding is that Adobe sees itself as being in competition with Microsoft and has a history of trying to block Microsoft's efforts to provide interoperability with Adobe's products whilst allowing others to do so.
