Thanks for the response!



After a little Google research, I discovered that LibreOffice's Writer does exactly what I wanted with its text formfields.

I just deleted the ones I made in MS Word, then opened the document file again in Writer and recreated the formfields with a couple simple actions, and clicked "export as PDF" and done!

Wish MS Word allowed us to do it as easy, would have made things a lot simpler for me, but oh well. Jobs done now, and the boss is pleased with the result!

Microsoft would most likely be happy to oblige, but my understanding is that Adobe sees itself as being in competition with Microsoft and has a history of trying to block Microsoft's efforts to provide interoperability with Adobe's products whilst allowing others to do so.
