Default Modifying footnote numbers

Hi all,

I'm currently working with table to which I am trying to add a footnote. More specifically, I am updating a table which I have to populate with current info. The only issue is that there is a footnote attached to the table in one of the columns, and when I delete the table, paste the new one and choose "Add Footnote", it inserts a number one value greater (the footnote jumps to 33 instead of 32).

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

That suggests you're using 'Track Changes', in which case the footnotes won't show the correct numbering until the changes are accepted (or rejected).
