Word 2007 Font Color Doesn't Work


Hi! When I click on a font color and then type, the font color stays black rather than changing to the color I chose.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

can you try this

click on that "show and hide marker" sign
then change color
can you tell us if that marker color changes ?

see attached as an exampleforum2.png

Try typing a word - then select and change font color - then type the rest.
