How to recover lost content from Ms word 13 ?

Hello everyone,

I am currently writing my thesis. For one section of the thesis I have been saving the file on my flash drive. I saved the file and remove the flash drive safely and was trying to work from my laptop (mac) and I realised I lost the contents I have written from last 2 days. Is there any solution to this ?
