How do I format text to make it look like citations?

Default How do I format text to make it look like citations?

My teacher wants us to put citations in a certain notation and I have no idea how to do it. The notation looks like this:

I have no idea how to get only the top line not indented while having the other lines indented.

It is called a "hanging indent."
Ctrl+T to increase the indent; Ctrl+Shift+T to reduce the indent.

Learn to use styles. The longer you wait to do this the more you will regret it.

Also, you might look into the citation features in Word. I have never used them.
