Default Spell check language is set to Spanish

Hi,

My spell check language is set to Spanish in word, but when I go to language preferences in the document or office 2016 language preferences from the start menu, it doesn't mention Spanish anywhere.

It has my language set as English (Ireland), which is what I want.

Anyone got any ideas how I change this from here on in?

Thanks,

E

ha...funny, I spent a lot of time searching google for this issue, but couldn't find an answer that worked for me...I didn't type in exactly as I posted here!

Anyway, I tried that and it worked...funny thing is that I tried the same yesterday and it didn't work!!!

Apologies and thanks
