What are these markers on the corners?

Hi, I added the Japanese language pack to my computer and when I opened up Word, these markers appeared on the document (pictured below). What are they for and how do I get rid of them?

They are crop marks.
I do not recall but they may be built into East Asian languages. If not, they are under Options > Advanced.

Note, these do not print. They do indicate the page margins. I do not believe you can turn them off if you have an East Asian language installed but could be mistaken.
