Envelope DL template prints wrong layout
I am using Word 2016 for Mac. I have created a template to print DL-sized envelopes. I set Page Setup to 'Envelope DL' and landscape format, then inserted a text box near the middle for the address. I attach screen shots of the Page Setup and of the page showing the document ready for printing. But when I print, the address appears at the very bottom. What have I done wrongly in my setting up of the template? Using Pages (the word-processing program that is the Apple/Mac equivalent of Word) and exactly the same setup, it prints perfectly. What is even more extraordinary, it also works perfectly in Word 2011 for Mac. So what is the problem with Word 2016? Further information re the above post: I have now discovered that the problem — even this major bug? — has nothing to do with any layout or formatting error, nor with templates; nor is it confined to envelopes. It occurs every time a file in a paper size other than A4 (my default size) in landscape format is saved, Word is closed and then the document and Word are restarted. Because of this more general problem, I shall create a new post under the title 'Saved and reopened files print wrongly'.
