Template Property for word document has no extension
Hi,
I am using Word 2013 in a Windows-7 64-Bit System. When I tried to view the name of the attached template for a document through advanced document properties, the name is shown without an extension. (Ex: Normal). While in other machines of the same configuration, it shows the template name along with the extension. (Eg: Normal.dotm, myTemplate.dotx). I would like to know if this is transient among MS Word or if it occurs due to some setting in my MS Word. Thanks, Nandu Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 03-09-2017 at 08:41 AM. It is a Windows setting.
Word follows it. 00 deleteme 1.png It is checked by default in new Windows installations. (Windows want to look as simple to use as a Mac.) |
