Hi all, I'm so frustrated with a newly-installed MSWord for Mac. All my previous 15 years of interoffice docs—built and formatted nicely with Arial—are ALL screwed up and Arial is actually Arial Condensed. Arial seems to be "corrupt," is that possible. I can't even change it back to Arial (since it thinks it is Arial, but it's CArial). Arrrgh. Help, please.

Is this happening in any other (non-Office) program? Off-hand, I suspect that the font is corrupt and needs to be re-installed, but if it is working in other programs, that probably is not it.

It appears to be fine in other apps, such as InDesign and Illustrator—but I just learned it's messed up in other Office apps like PowerPoint as well, so it feels like an Office issue. And after a quick glance, I see at least 60 folders with different versions of Arial, all throughout my computer, in System Folders, resident. If I throw them all away, I'm likely to be in worse shape.
