Was the file originally a Word file or a Works file?
I can't get the .wps file to open, but right away I see a problem with the file name. The file extension is in there twice. Rename the file to only have the file extension once. If you are attempting to move content from a Works file type to a Word file type, you might try copying and pasting rather than using save as options.
