Default Transfer names from one doc onto pre made

Hey.

My boss has asked me to make some certificates for work and she suggested using macros. I tried it out and it didn't work, I am trying to have a document with names on it and put the names onto the certificate document without having to type every name in.

I would love it if someone could give me a yay or nay if I can do it or not.

sorry if I doesn't make sense. Thank you!!

This is the kind of thing you might use a mailmerge for. See:

For your purposes, you might use a letter merge or label merge.
