I was given a Word doc that looks like all or part of it was copied from a web page. The doc has a short horizontal line that goes part way across the document at the bottom. I don't want this line in the doc. I can see the line in Word, but it is greyed out so I can't select it to delete it. When I use File\Web Page Preview I can use the View\Source and delete the code <hr align=left size=1 width="33%"> to eliminate the line. But I can't get it out of the Word version. I need to keep the document as a Word doc.
I have attached the doc. Thanks |
