Default Randomly, Styleref H1 Heading Isn't Applying in Header

Page 10 has the name Method (an H1) in the header. Page 11 does not.

However, Page 13 and 14 have the name of the last H1 - even though they're different pages like 10 and 11 are on different pages.

Why is page 11 blank in referencing the H1?

Thanks.

It is impossible to tell anything from those images. The problem could be due to the use of: a 'different first page' and/or 'different odd and even' page layout (you evidently have at least one of those), with a Section lacking the appropriate StyleRef field in one of the headers; an empty paragraph in the Heading 1 Style, resulting in the StyleRef field having nothing to display; or other formatting issues not apparent in the images.

For a definitive answer, you would need to attach the actual document to a post with some representative data (delete anything sensitive). You can do so via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

I decided those aren't appropriate for this book anyway. I left my question for future reference (I have more books I want to write), but unfortunately I've already changed it. I tried to keep this old version too, however I forgot to "save as."

Thanks for taking the time for me.
