Default 2nd page footer data is not changing

Need the words "Schedule B" to appear on 2nd page footer. 1st page footer info appears on 2nd page. I have checked and unchecked the "different first page" box on design tab. Using section break (next page) after 1st page. Doc is rtf to work w/ software.

If the text flows from the first page to the second, you do need the 'different first page' layout option. And, if you're creating the footers manually, you also need to create the second page (e.g. via Ctrl-Enter) - at least temporarily - to add 'Schedule B' to the footer there. Do not use Section breaks for this.

The use of Section breaks would only be appropriate if none of the first page content was to flow onto the second page. In that case, you would not use the 'different first page' layout option. Instead, you'd create the second Section (permanently), unlink it's footer from the first Section, then add 'Schedule B' to the footer there.

Do you want "Schedule B" to appear in the footer only on the second page?
on all pages?
on all pages except the first page?

Header/Footer Settings Recap

If you want it to appear on pages following a title "Schedule B" on a page, look into the StyleRef Field.
