Word 2016 Not Auto Aligning Pictures to Text
In 2013 when inserting a picture beside some text, as I moved it around orange lines showed and it automatically lined them up with the borders of the text and with the text itself. 2016 is not doing that anymore and so I have to guess if I have the picture aligned with the text properly.

Bump. The same is also true when inserting shapes like lines. I have to guess if the line is exactly in the center of the page. In 2013 as I moved it around it would soft-lock (if that's a word) it into place whenever it got to the middle or to various other areas on the page. Is there an option where I can turn that feature on again?

Okay, so I contacted Microsoft. I get free support because I'm on the monthly plan. It basically came to down to Alignment Guides. You select your picture or shape. Go to the Format tab, go to the Arrange section and press the Align drop down menu. "Use Alignment Guides" is in there.
