Word 2007-cannot select or copy image
This might belong in Word Tables forum because the image appears in a table cell-but I'm not sure the table's the problem. I created the document from a PDF, exported by Acrobat X. In Word I can edit the text, no problem-but when I try to select the image to copy/paste it all I get is a blank cell. I've tried select all & copy/paste to a new document & I get the image in the new document but again can't select it.
Most likely the image isn't where it appears to be but I can't figure out where to go to select it. Any ideas? Thanks. BTW, what I'm trying to do is combine the pages, eliminating the useless (to me) information and putting the image from the 2nd page into the 2nd column of the table on the 1st page. |

Found part of the problem. It appears the images were attached to the background, not in the table as they appeared. I still can't copy/paste them but I've figured out how to move them & that's good enough for now.

You can access them easily enough if you add the 'Select Drawing Objects' button to the Quick Access Toolbar. Clicking on that, then on the picture allows you to select it, even if it's in the background.
