Restrict text style editing but keep section break option
Hello
I've been creating Word templates for one of my clients and she wants to restict the text styles to the approved ones that I've created. She doesn't want employess changing text size or colour or use styles that are not permitted. I've set up all the text styles that should be used in the correct weight and colour, I've gone to manage styles and set permissions and/or restictions but after this has been done it seems to prevent me from inserting section breaks, among other useful things! I only want to restrict text styles, nothing more. Why is it doing this? A section break is not a text style, it's an important function so why when I restrict text styles does it restrict this as well? Very odd. Unfortunately one of the client's requests is to be able to insert landscape pages which require you to insert a section break before changing the orientation. How can I set restrictions/permissions on text styles and keep the option for inserting section breaks? There doesn't seem to be a keyboard shortcut and I don't want to get into macros. Has anyone got any idea how I go about this? Thanks |
