Vague yellowness appears in background of a single page
I have a small part of a Word document that for some reason appears on my monitor with a vague light-yellow cast behind the printing. Of course I've checked the "Background Color" setting to make sure it's set to no background color, but that doesn't get rid of the vague yellow background. I've attached a page to show the difference between the problem area, and a part of the text following it that doesn't have the problem. (When I print the material, I believe the background is there as well, but it's so vague as to be barely noticeable.)
Thanks to anyone who can help... Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 11-28-2016 at 05:10 PM. Reason: Mark as solved |

Yellow
It's an overlay applied as character formatting. Select the text, hold down Ctrl, and press the space bar to clear it. This will also change the point size from 11 to 12, but that you can easily change back.
