Default Automatically give your document a name?

Here (https://www.digitalunite.com/guides/...-save-document) Step 5: Word will automatically give your document a name, based on the first few words of your text.

My Word docs used to do this but somehow, some setting must have been changed because now it doesn’t. I have to type in the title after clicking save or save as. I want my Word to do go back to doing this as before but don’t know which option to change. Can some one tell me what/how to do this?
