Default Creating Word Templates

Hi everyone,

I hope Someone can help me. I want to create a document in Word to use as a template in the future,

Is there anyway that I can log values in the word document and change them accordingly to comply with other models. ( I have the same calculation methods in each report.)

For example, if I'm using a dimension "x, y and z in my report the calculations further on in my report are based on the dimensions of those values, so if I wanted to in the future change x to A for example, I could just change it once at the beginning and then the rest of the document would adjust accordingly.

You could prompt for the values using ASK fields and use REF fields to the associated bookmarks to insert the values in your calculation.

Better still you could create a userform with three text fields (or three comboboxes) to collect the three values, which would enable you to provide error handling for inappropriate values, and use the output of the userform to provide the values for your calculations.

At its simplest see - http://www.gmayor.com/Userform.htm and attached template (create a new document from the template).
