Track change colour problems
PLEASE HELP!! 😬
I am at work and my boss asked me to make track changes in another colour, all the track changes we usually do are in red (which is words default I believe) so I quickly looked online to see how I do it and I used the review tab- track change user name. The box came up and I created a new user it only has the option of colour schemes blue, silver and black, so I left it as blue. Made the amendments saved and closed so I now had red and blue amendments in the document. Today we opened an old track change documents and the amendments instead of being in red were in blue!!! I check the user names and they seem to have swapped over so what I thought was my blue user was now red and the red user now blue (if this makes sense) Can anyone shed some light on what I've done as all the documents we have made track changes in plain red as default are now blue I did check yesterday's document to see if the blue/red document was affected but it wasn't that was still the same, it's just all previous documents have gone blue as opposed to the standard red. I've messed about with the colours but had to change it back to the users settings I created as it changes the current to red but deletes all blue tracked changes. Sorry if I sound like I am repeating myself but I am trying to make myself clear. Please help and thank you |

Open the Track Changes options and make sure they're not set to apply colouring 'by author' and that they instead apply the colouring you want.
