Hey,
I'm currently writing my thesis in word 2010 and set up an index, a list of tables and list of figures at the beginning of the document. Both the list of tables and list of figures are two separate indexes, referring to elements in the body of the document and the appendix, using two separate templates (e.g. table 1. and table A1.). All was well and good, but at some point, when I saved the document to a new file, as I always do, a bunch of my figures in the body vanished when the elements were refreshed before saving. Also, the hyperlinks of both lists of figures refer back to the previous document (before saving it) when clicking on them with ctrl. + click... The entries in the index and list of tables work as intended. Now I have to always disable automatic field codes (Ctrl. + A, Ctrl. + Shift + F11) in order to prevent this from happening. I've tried to revert to the old document and save again, setting up all indexes anew, but to no avail... I'm at a loss. Any ideas? |
