Dear Forum members,
I have a good old problem with footnotes in Word 2007. I have attached two screen shots that hopefully demonstrate the problem. Basically, when a footnote is too long, it continues on the next page but the formatting is weird. This is part of my PhD dissertation, so it is a long document. Could someone please give me some advice as to how I can fix this problem? Best wishes, Charlotte My apologies - I just had an epiphany and figured it out myself. Here the explanation, in case someone else has a similar problem. Go to VIEW - DRAFT, the go to REFERENCES - SHOW FOOTNOTES. Select "Footnote Continuation Separator" and edit it accordingly.
