Does anyone know the best way to automatically included checkboxes before numbers in numbered lists?

Hi, you could use a 2 column table with checkbox in first column and numbered list in second column.

There is no automatic way, especially with auto-numbering. Jen has suggested one workaround; another would be to create a custom quick part consisting of a checkbox content control followed by a SEQ field for the numbering, then insert that on an as-required basis.
