I'm doing some work which requires me to place watermarks on my pages and for some reason they quit showing up. They were working at first then just quit.The pages which I've already have done no longer have watermarks.
I've shut down Word and restarted. I've restarted my computer and even shut down for a few minutes and restarted and nothing. The box with the watermark that should be there is there but the watermark itself is gone. Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

Go to File>Options>Advanced and scroll down to the "Show document content" section of the dialog and uncheck the box for "Show picture placeholders".

The box is unchecked. The only box under that heading that is checked is "Show drawings and text boxes on screen"

I just found out that on certain pages the watermark will not show up yet on others it won't. Could it have something to do with formatting? Some of the pages were converted from another word version, I'm not sure which one. I don't Know if that would have anything to do with it or not. I've converted the documents to 13 so they should be compatable.

Watermarks are generally image files inserted in the page header.
This can get complicated in multiple-section documents.
