Default Link image using file path

Hi,

I am creating multiple documents that are almost identical apart from one major thing, the logo in the corner. Is there a way to link the image to a file path, example: (C:/USER/DOCUMENTS/Test1/logo.png) rather than going through each document and replacing each image?

Thank you in advance.

Yes, or you can use an AutoText entry for the image in a Global Template.

Insert > Picture
Select picture
Insert (button) > Insert as Link

00 deleteme 1.png

The AutoText option is less subject to the link being broken so long as the template holding the AutoText is loaded as a global template. You would use an AutoText field.

Check out Word's INCLUDEPICTURE field.
