I want to use numbered endnotes and have multiple references to each one in my document. I want the same superscripted number to appear multiple places within the document and once at the end of the document next to the note text. When I mouse over any instance of the number in the document, I want the text of the endnote to popup. When I click it, I want to jump to the endnote.
Can I do this? I tried "Cross References" but it doesn't quite work. The first reference in the document works fine, but mousing over the second one causes "Current Document" to popup and clicking it takes me to the first reference instead of to the end note as I want. I also tried copying and pasting the first reference in the doc, but that creates a second end note with a new number and the same text. Thanks! |
