Word 2007, printing any document it comes out as a postage stamp size in top left hand corner. Word Pad prints ok, so can't be a printer issue? If I look at a print preview everything looks fine and set at 100% for A4 paper size. The only thing I have done is set page numbers for left margin, then removed them. If any one can offer some wisdom in simple language I would be most happy for a fix!

so it has to be settings on Word 2007, if a saved document prints ok on Word Pad, but miniscule with 2007?

One thing that occurs to me is to go to the Review tab. Click the Show Markup down arrow (tracking group), point to Balloons, and choose to show markup inline. Also on the Review tab, be sure Track Changes is off, or if it is on choose Final.

fwiw, I've opened a long doc and selected '16 pages per sheet' from the Print dialogue. Nothing changes in the preview pane of the dialogue, and the setting isn't reflected by being in View > Print layout either … so perhaps you could check the Print dialogue?

As eNGiNe suggested, look into the "X Pages Per Sheet" setting. More specifically, make sure that "1 Page Per Sheet" has been selected in the printer options at File | Print.

I am having the same problem, and can't seem to find a fix.

I have the pages set to print to letter sized paper, and to print 1 page per sheet, yet they still print as postage stamp size documents.

Windows 10
Microsoft Word 2007

I am attempting to print .docx (both newly created and old documents). My Windows 10 and Word are both newly installed within the past week.

Look for an option to print multiple pages in your printer driver.
