Tab within a Fillable Form
I have a document that I turned into a fillable form. I protected the text by grouping it. When I open the document and press tab, it does not tab to the first control context. I have to click the cursor there. How can I tab to the first control content without manually going there?
Do I need to create a macro? If so, how? I'm not that familiar with writing a macro. |

First, you need to use plain text content controls, not rich-text. I believe they are.
Second, you need to actually enforce the restrictions. You could put a blank content control set for no editing and no deletion at the very beginning of your document template and put your insertion point there. A tab from there will go to the next content control. Otherwise, you will need a macro, I believe. Templates in Microsoft Word |

Tab within a Fillable Form
I have plan text control contents in the document. I restricted the document and I receive an error message when I try to get out of design mode.

The first content control should have a single space as the placeholder text. It can't be blank.
