I am working in Word 2016. I am using track changes and I want the printout to be a simple red bar on the left to indicate where a change has been made. In the Track Changes box, I have it set to Simple Markup. On the screen, it looks perfect. However, when I try to print I get the full blown markup with dashed out red text, a dialog box on the side, etc.
Need help getting my settings right for a Simple Markup!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. DDJ |

Set your Track Changes options so that the insertion property is '(none)' and the deletion property is 'Hidden', with the display set to 'Final: Show Markup'.
