This is driving me crazy. I cannot figure out how to not have a space above text that is linked to an excel spreadsheet.
My goal is to have a Word Document linked to an Excel spreadsheet. The excel sheet will contain things such as Date, Project Name, Location, etc.. These cells will be linked to a word doc so I only have to change these inputs once in excel, and they will fill multiple links in the word doc. The links are working but I end up with a space between my text even though my spacing is 0. I have tried playing with the Excel formatting with no luck. I have attached an example. I really appreciate any help, this would save me a huge amount of time but the formatting issue makes it just about unusable. |

You have the fields configure to insert as HTML text. You will get better results pasting the link as unformatted text or as formatted text.

Could you explain a little more? Do you mean I should change the formatting in word or excel? Thanks
Edit: I see what you mean. Thanks I think that worked |

For the benefit of others, it's a Paste Special format in Word.
