Default Highlighting placeholder text similar to Adobe

Greetings!

I have been tasked with finding a solution to this issue. My superior would like me to create our forms similar in appearance to Adobe forms meaning the following...

Here is an Adobe sample form: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Acrobat/...rm_enabled.pdf

(It's also similar to how the legacy forms text form field looks)

The highlighted boxes where text should go is what he would like to be done instead of text placeholders in our content control boxes so that users know where there should be text filled in without mucking up the form with unnecessary text.

I thought I found a solution, but it seems to be highlighting the text on entry, not the other way around.

Any help would be appreciated!
