Strange icon left in my Word Newsletter
Hi Guys... I have just produced a newsletter using Word (Office 2011). I used a template but ended up deleting a lot of the text boxes and areas for photos and used my own layout. Everything went well but, in two or three places throughout the newsletter I have been left with a tiny blue rectangle with a white capital A inside followed by a row of dots like this A... I have hunted everywhere to try and find out what this means but no luck. Can somebody please tell me how to get rid of them as they are ruining my otherwise perfect layout?
Many thanks, Cheers, John |

Newsletter nightmare, please help..!!!
The small blue rectangles that I mentioned above have now paled in significance after I tried to convert my word document into a PDF... all of the formatting has gone haywire, overlapping or items disappearing completely! Not only this, my 1 MB newsletter became 10 MB as a PDF... what's going on, can somebody please help me here? This is the first newsletter that I have ever tried, as mentioned above, I used a template but I changed some of the text box shapes and areas for photos so that I could fit my own things in. I was left with those tiny blue rectangles here and there beneath areas of text, but now that I've seen what has happened to my layout when converted I think I need some urgent advice! Also, any info on how I can convert to a PDF without increasing the file size would be a massive help... many thanks in advance, cheers, John
