Save and exiting corrupts linked objects
Hello everyone,
I am trying to link various values from an Excel table to a Word file and although everything is working fine and linked data update normally, links fail to function right after I save and close the document. After I open the document again I cannot update these objects as they are reported as destroyed or missing. Note that going to File -> Edit Links and refreshing the connected linked files with the same Excel file allows me to update again (it behaves as if I changed the source file's name or location). Note that this only happens on paste-linked values on RTF / HTML / Simple text. Image-linked values update normally. Can someone help me? Thank you in advance! |
