Word 2013, two page .docx file, but it's treating each page as a 'picture'. Ie, can't get back to the usual | cursor/mouse pointer to edit the text in the document. The cursor is the + style that lets us move all the text on the page as a complete block. How do we get it back to where we can edit the text on the page?
It's acting as if each page of text has been converted to a picture, but if I try different 'Wrap Text" settings, it changes, so I think the text is still there. Just can't work with it as text. There's no picture (as far as I can tell) on the page. I can insert a blank page, but it only lets me put 1 character per line, but the "Picture Tools Format" indication is gone. Tried saving the document in different formats, but it doesn't resolve the problem. I'd like to at least recover the text without having to retype it all if possible. Any ideas appreciated. |
