Default iWork (Pages)-MS Word Compatibility

I live in both the PC and Mac worlds. For several years I've had to use MS Word as a layout tool, which it isn't. Apple's Pages is great as a layout tool.

When I lay out a document in Pages, insert floating images, and then export the document to Word, the text doesn't wrap around the floating art despite my trying various wraps in Word Layout. I also tried inserting the image in a Word table, another MS Word layout trick.

Any ideas? Any rumors that Apple or MS may fix this in upcoming versions?
