Creating a 1 click checkbox in Word
Hi there,
I was hoping someone could help me out with this; I want an unchecked box (a square) in the document, and when you click in it for it to change to a checked box (Square with an X inside of it). I have assigned the symbols as Autotext, but I am not sure how to make it 1 click.. Thanks in advance for your help! |

You can use using "Forms" tool.
Enable the "Form" tool by rightclicking on the top of the grey area and enable it. Then click the check box form field then you double click on it for the properties setup. Once you done your settings, lock the form by clicking Protect form After you protecting the form you will be able to click the check boxes on/off. Hope this will help you what you are expecting. Thanks. Quote:

I recieved a quiz from my comapny that I'd like to clean up, primary is doing what teh OP requested (right now one has to double click to get the dialogue box, select "checked", then close.
Where would I find the forms tool? I tied protecting teh document but I got a dialog box asking if I wanted to download some new feature. I do not. I just want folks to be able to 1-click a box. There has got to be an easy way to do this... |
