Deleted 'Built In' Quick Part Building Blocks by accident!
Hi,
As per the title, I deleted all of the built in Building Blocks within Quick Parts to make it easier to navigate my own custom pieces. I didn't realise that this would delete all of the built in templates for things like Page Numbers and Tables of Contents. Is there any way to restore these or somewhere that I can download them from? Cheers Duncan Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 07-22-2016 at 08:09 AM. Reason: Mark as solved |

See Page numbering /header / footer problems Word 2007 - 2013 and follow the directions to restore the built-in ones.
To make your own building blocks easier to reach, you can put them in separate categories, starting the names of the categories with either a space or an underscore. That will put them at the top of the list. You will likely want to give your own building blocks meaningful and distinctive names. If one is suggested by Word it is likely to be neither. Where can Building Blocks be stored? |

Thanks again
Hi Charles, took some time to find the folder but renaming the file worked perfectly. Phew!
