Default Change equation font

How do I change the font in an equation to match the font in the rest of the document? I am using Word 2010.

You can try this:
Select the equation.
Right-click in it and choose Font... in the popup menu (or click Ctrl+Shift+F)
Change the settings like you normally would.
Hope this helps.

Thanks SrDPLVO,

I have decided to stop fighting the problem. I changed the font in the document to match the font in the equation.

Best wishes,
Jim
