You must first insert a bookmark at your target location and give it a name (Insert, Bookmark). Then when you insert your hyperlink, go to Document, click Locate, and choose the bookmark. (I'm using Mac Word 2004, but the procedure is similar. On 2007 you might have to hunt around.)

Hi
I'm working in Word 2007 at the moment, so it is a little different. You can create hyperlinks within a document to 3 things: - the top of the document - a heading - a bookmark. If you want to link to a heading, you must first style it using a heading style (eg Heading 1, Heading 2, etc.) If you want to link to somewhere else (not a heading) you must first create a bookmark at that location and name it. (Bookmarks are invisible in your document.) Once you have done that: 1. Select the text you want to turn into a hyperlink. 2. Go Insert, Hyperlink. 3. In the dialogue box, choose 'Place in this document' (or similar in Word 2003). 4. Select the heading or bookmark you want to link to. OK. See screen grab. Yours will be a little different. |
