problem with spacing
I have a word template where the paragraph has spacing with "After" 12 pt
I have applied this template to a existing document by using Addins-attach-automatically document styles. yet, the document still uses 6pt for spacing which existed. Can you help me fix this?

Changing templates won't automatically change the formatting unless you also apply the 'Automatically update documents Styles' setting. See under Developer>Document Template. The alternative is to re-apply the Style manually.

In addition to what Paul has said, make sure that the style for which you changed the spacing is applied to text in the target document.
