table in landscape partially off page when rendered to PDF
In the process we use, we upload our Word doc to a document management system. In that system is an option to create a pdf from the word. It does it's thing (adding bookmarks and such), but sometimes there's a problem. The first table, that is in landscape while previous pages are portrait, essentially falls off the page. The first 1/2 of the table doesn't show on the page - like it slipped off. Often if we can find a hidden page break, or delete and replace headers, we can fix it. But one fix doesn't solve all instances of this and sometime we can't find a fix at all.

Does this happen when you create a PDF directly from Word, or only when using your DMS? If it's the latter, the problem would seem to be with the DMS, not Word or the document.

it happens only with the DMS, but happens maybe 5% of the time. The problem, I am fairly certain, lays within some formatting in the Word doc (hidden section break, messy styles, sometimes Advanced options not being set correctly).

Given that the problem happens only with the DMS, then that's where the fault lies. You may need to study the DMS specs to see what its particular requirements are, then use a macro or something such to ensure the documents conform.
