Using Word 2010.
I want to insert hyperlink that contains "#". The hyperlink is to a section of web page. But every time I l hit Ctrl + Click on the hyper-linked word, I get directed to a non-existing page. This is because "#" get converted to "%20-%20". How do I solve this issue? Thank you |

This works just fine for me. If you want us to be able to help, you need to be specific enough so we can reproduce the problem.

In the browser a hyperlink with a bookmark uses a # but in Word this is represented by an \l (lowercase L) switch. If you create the hyperlink in the Hyperlink dialog box Word will create the proper syntax for you.
