Default Footers and Section Breaks

Hi I'm using Word 2007 and about to go crazy trying to get my report to work.

How do you insert a page break (in order to go from one paper size to another and back on the following page) but have the page numbering continue in sequence rather than start over at 1? And how do you get the footer you have that works for the usual 8.5x11 portrait setup also work in landscape but be stretched across the page now to fit within the margins?
Cheers.

Try this:
Where you want to change from Portrait or Landscape:
Page Layout tab > Section Breaks > Continuous > make your change
At each location, you want a change do this

Thank you.

That, for me anyway, still isn't increassing the page number and always starts with a page 1 instead. And the second issue remains that if I change the orientation or page size the footer and header retains the original size of a 8.5x11 rather than fitting to the new page.
