putting pictures within text
when putting pictures within the text, is there a way to position the pictures anywhere you want, and also, if there are more than one photo i want to position them as i want relative to each other. how do we do all this? what if i want to put part of one picture on top of the other? can we do it and then bring forward or send backward like in ms publisher? |

Publisher is a lot better at this than Word. It is designed for it while Word's handling of graphics is ancillary to its purpose.
You can have one picture in the behind text layer, one in the text layer and one in the in front of text layer and can position them absolutely. You could do the same with pictures placed in the header/footer layer. However, graphics in different layers cannot be grouped and it would be a real pain to edit. |

ok so do you mean i can move the pictures together with the text in publisher if i make them the same layer as all other text? how? and are there only three layers? one behind text layer one text layer and one front text layer?
