how to make navigation part closed when we open our existing MS word document
I prepared an MS word document (2010) with main titles and many sub titles that is bounded to main titles. When we open this Ms word document from the beginning, It is opened in the way of that all titles seem to be opened in the navigation panel on the left side. I want them to be seem as closed and to see only main titles on navigation at first. İs there any settings for that purpose ?
Thanks in advance. |

The default is to display the top three levels. I assume this is what you are seeing.
I do not know if this is available in Word 2016 as I do not have it. It was not available in Word 2013. You should be able to collapse headings in the document itself and that sticks with the document. See this thread, especially Stefan Blom's response on January 12, 2015. http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/o...c-3c54d36eadcb |
