how to make reference to picture mobile in text?
Hi
I wrote a big document with over 150 pictures and 250 pages, To each picture I used "describe photo" But I have a problem with references of this photo, e.g. when I delete picture 130 (Pic. 130) I have to rewrite this numbers in text where I describe this photos (because 130 is now 129, 131 is now 130,132 is now 131 and so on) How to make this references kind of mobile? e.g. I write in "results": "You can see me on the seaside in picture 3(Pic.3), my cat is on picture 4 (Pic.4) and my dog on 5(Pic. 5)" but than I decide to delete my cat from "results" and I don't want to rewrite but make pic reference update automatically I attach my problem in picture from my work, please help because I'm going crazy with 150 pictures !! :-) in zip there is better quality best regards |

You could use Word's Caption tools; that's what they're for. If you delete a pic & caption, or insert another set into the existing list, they'll auto-renumber.
