Lost default formatting and top and bottom margins in Word 2010
A few days ago, I hit something and I lost my default formatting on Microsoft Word 2010. I have no idea what I did, but I would really like to get back to the way it was. The new format is almost unusable as it takes away all my margins, and my page break is just a thin line.
Here are two screenshots, the first of what the "default" look was and the second is what I'm dealing with now. http://imgur.com/a/v1PWU Any and all help is appreciated. Last edited by Charles Kenyon; 02-19-2016 at 12:45 PM. Reason: Mark as solved |

Looks like you changed the viewing layout to "Draft". Using the VIEW tab, at the far left, click on "Print Layout". That should put you back to where you were.

Thanks for your reply, but the setting is already on "Print Layout." As soon as I open a new document, the cursor is on the very top line. I have manually adjusted the top and bottom margins, but it doesn't do anything.

YOU, Dear Sir or Madam, are a genius! That fixed the problem! No idea what keyboard shortcut I hit to make that go away, but THANK YOU!!!
