Default Same selection of font..different sizes...

Hello--can anyone explain why (in the same document) when selecting Verdana (Headings) 8 point...I get a difference in size of font and a difference in spacing (spacing between letters)...miniscule but easily discerned differences....?

They are chapter headings for a book....selected separately....Thanks!

Without actually seeing the problem document, it can be difficult for anyone to diagnose the issue. Can you attach a document to a post with some representative data (delete anything sensitive)? You do this via the paperclip symbol on the 'Go Advanced' tab at the bottom of this screen.

FWIW, spacing will vary if the paragraph uses justification and the text length approaches or exceeds a full line, as Word adjusts the spacing to suit.

Default paperclip

When I try to attach a file I am taken to a screen that gives me the browse option...I select the file to upload and nothing occurs....I'm taking too much of your time because I can't figure out how to graphically show you the difference between the two Verdana (headings) 8 point sentences ...not sure where to go from here...thanks for the attempts at help!

Did you click the 'Upload' button after selecting the file to attach?

Yes, but I'll try it again...

Not sure if it worked but I do see the file below under 'Attach' Files. It is Rand.docx

Whether it works or not ...??

Thanks again for hanging in there....Garyz

The two lines are at the top. They are:

EXCAVATION SITE, 10324 CANYON ROAD, PUYALLUP, WASHINGTON
Geraldine, Nicholas, Renee and Robin

That is about how they look....same font, same 8 pt...
